Reddish Hall School is proudly celebrating a remarkable milestone, as its long‑running Science Club has been awarded the prestigious STEM Club Silver Award. This national recognition reflects three years of dedication, curiosity, and creativity from students who have made the club a thriving hub of scientific exploration.
Three Years of Weekly Discovery
Since its launch three years ago, the Science Club has met every week without fail, becoming a highlight of the school calendar. Each session has offered students the chance to immerse themselves in hands‑on experiments, collaborative challenges, and themed projects that stretch their thinking and spark their imagination.
Some of the club’s most memorable themes include:
These varied projects have allowed students to experience science as something alive, practical, and deeply connected to the world around them.
Growth Beyond the Experiments
While the award recognises the club’s scientific achievements, the true success story lies in the personal growth of the students involved. Over the past three years, participants have developed:
Teachers have watched students flourish—some discovering new interests, others finding their voice in group discussions, and many developing leadership qualities that extend far beyond the lab.
Reddish Hall is immensely proud of every student who has contributed to the club’s journey. Their enthusiasm, commitment, and willingness to push themselves have been central to earning the Silver Award.
Looking Ahead: Aiming for Gold
With the Silver Award now proudly secured, Reddish Hall is already setting its sights on the next challenge: achieving the STEM Club Gold Award. As part of this exciting next step, the school will be hosting a Science Share Event near the end of the year. This celebration will bring together students, families, and the wider school community to showcase projects, demonstrate experiments, and highlight the incredible work taking place within the club.
The event will not only mark how far the club has come, but also signal the beginning of an ambitious new chapter—one that continues to nurture curiosity, celebrate achievement, and inspire the next generation of scientists.
