Learning Outside the Classroom – Autumn 2 (2026/27)

We are delighted to share our Autumn 2 Learning Outside the Classroom programme, which is packed with exciting opportunities for students to explore, discover and learn beyond the school gates.

Throughout the half-term, students will take part in a range of educational visits designed to bring learning to life. Highlights include:

• Careers Visits to MOSI (Museum of Science and Industry) – helping students explore future pathways and develop their understanding of the world of work.
• Outdoor adventure days at the Anderton Centre – where students will build confidence, resilience, teamwork and independence through a variety of engaging activities.
• History trips to Thackray Museum and Liverpool World Museum – providing hands-on experiences that connect classroom learning with real-life history.
• Creative pottery workshops – giving students the chance to develop artistic skills and express their creativity.
• English curriculum visits and local walks – encouraging curiosity, communication and meaningful learning in different environments.

Learning Outside the Classroom is a key part of our curriculum at Reddish Hall School. These experiences help students develop important life skills, broaden their horizons and create lasting memories while supporting their personal, social and academic development.
